Scientology applied religious philosophy

I have had people ask me how come someone can be a Scientologist and still also be Jewish or Methodist or Muslim.

The reason is that Scientology is an applied religious philosophy as opposed to being a religious "practice."

Scientology is not a belief system, and doesn't interfere with one's beliefs. It is really completely up to you what you believe.

Scientology is a body of data and practical tools that you study and USE. You observe for yourself whether or a datum in Scientology is true, and if it is, fine. If not, that's fine too.

There is an article by L. Ron Hubbard that sums this up perfectly. It is called Personal Integrity
