Scientology Celebrity Centre

Many of my friends have asked me what Scientology Celebrity Centre is, and why Scientology has a Celebrity Centre.

This statement of the purpose of this church comes from the Celebrity Centre web site:

"Borne out of this desire to help are the many social betterment activities Scientology supports. From our education programs, providing real answers to declining literacy levels, to our solutions for criminal reform and drug-rehabilitation -- everything we do in Scientology is in the name of help.

"Thus, while we continue our work to bring real solutions to those areas of society most in need, we also realize that we must not forget those individuals upon whom society depends the most."
